Hi Su,
It rains most of the time in England. And when it's not raining, it's snowing.
Most rides are made wearing waterproof clothing and lots of layers because of the cold. I always carry waterproof clothing with me on sunny days because the weather is so unpredictable.
On wet days, I have to ride really smoothly. The Savage is a great bike for that - I can keep up with and even pass sports bikes on twisting roads in the rain. My Metzeler tyres grip so well in wet conditions.
In winter, salt is put on the roads to stop the roads freezing. That means that after every ride, I have to clean the bike thoroughly. Any salt left on the bike will start corrosion. And when it's raining, which is most of the time, the bike ends up really dirty. I spend almost as much time cleaning my Savage as I do riding it.

In England, weather forecasters always predict sunshine and showers - and they're usually right.

Happy Savage riding,
Andrew
